Product Description

Extra-large, strong, and comfortable, the Coleman XL Mesh Broadband Quad Chair is perfect for tailgating, picnics, spectator events, on the deck or at the campsite. Measuring 36.5" wide, 22.25" deep and 35.75" high, the XL Broadband Quad Chair supports up to 275 pounds. It's made to be comfortable: the Textaline mesh fabric offers cool support, while 3-D mesh around it provides some cushioning without blocking airflow. The reinforced frame includes heavy-duty seat-support brackets and foot brackets with double-wall riveting. The built-in mesh cup holder (4" round & 3" deep) lets moisture drain out while holding your beverage securely. The chair weighs just 8.75 and folds up compactly, so it's easy to transport in the included carry bag. One-year warranty. Color: Cardinal/Silver.

Coleman changed a good thing....BAD BAD BAD

Review by J. Collard, 2009-11-24

I must say that I'm completely unsatisfied with the chairs.
Reasons:
1. The pain after 3 minutes from the two supports in front. "just above my knees" The seat is not wide enough. And my slim brother says so too......
2. The back is too straight cannot relax.
3. No ajustable arms rests and only one cup holder.
4. The seat is too high, I'm 6 foot and still need to keep toes pointed down to stem pain under legs.

I bought two coleman chairs in 2001 from sams club and those had none of these problems, but they look alike in photo.
Why would coleman change the design?
I'd pay more for the older version..

Folding Camp Chair

Review by Rich, 2009-08-02

If you want a chair strong enough to support a full sized adult, this one works. If you want a chair its easy to take with you camping, or sitting out waiting for the Rose Parade to start or if you want one that is easy to set up and feels substantial enough not to fold up on you....this isn't it. It feels huge when you are trying to stuff it in its carry bag and it doesn't cooperate. The sitting position you experience feels odd and not very comfortable. Having mesh on the seat and back for ventilation is a good idea but it still makes me sweat more. Its pretty much the kind of item I would have returned if I hadn't waited till the last minute before a trip to buy and didn't have that option. Its not completely horrible but I expected better from Coleman.

XL=XSturdy

Review by Hoopla!, 2008-09-07

The XL in the description should be extra sturdy! This chair's construction is so much better than any other camping chair on the market. It was used at a family reunion and I did not panic when "Big Momma" sat in it.

Cuts Across the Legs

Review by Donald P. Larson, 2008-08-07

The chair has a bar that cuts across your legs. Ordered 2 thinking Coleman would really know what they are doing and both chairs have a bar across the front that cuts your legs. Several people, of all shapes and sizes, tried the chairs and all had the same comment. Coleman needs to fix the design before continuing to sell this chair. On the other hand it is well made and appears durable. Sad to say, I will be returning the chairs.
